Hey ya'll, I'm Samantha and the rest of my crazy crew includes my wonderful husband of 3 years, Jay and our newest blessing, Hunter! Welcome to our adventure!
We live in rural Iowa and are in the process of building our new home on our 120-acre farm. I am a firefighter turned country-living, domesticated, stay-at-home mommy! While Jay and I are both strongly rooted in the fire service we have recently "given it up" to focus on the most important thing in life ... our family!
I am here to write about life, lessons learned, Christ, marriage, kiddos, farm-life, and of course, FOOD! Lots and Lots of good 'ol fashioned down-home cookin' using recipes I've accumulated over the years from family, friends, my own experiments, and of course ... all those Fire House and Farm House favorites!
